Marriott International announced the opening of the co-located AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown and Moxy Atlanta Midtown.
The two hotels are located in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood, a commercial and residential area commonly referred to as just “Midtown.”
Between the two, the property has 288 rooms and suites.
The AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown has 133 rooms, all with what the hotelier refers to as a “sophisticated” décor, while the Moxy Atlanta Midtown Hotel has 155 rooms with a more industrial look that includes reclaimed pallet ceilings and iron finishes.
High Note, located above the top floor, features a rooftop pool, cabanas, and bar, as well as meeting spaces, a fitness center, and an outdoor lobby with fire pits.
On the ground level, the hotel is the site for the first part of the city’s Arts Walk, a pedestrian connector that will eventually go from 10th Street to the Woodruff Arts Center. The Arts Walk will feature creative lighting and interactive art installations created by local artists while passing by numerous restaurants, hotels, residential buildings, and office towers.
